Mia M. Washington was her family's designated gift wrapper from the time she was 5 -- and her love for pretty packages continues to this day. She considers it therapy. For Mia, there is nothing better than receiving a beautifully wrapped gift, which shows love and care.
As department stores began to eliminate gift wrapping services, Mia saw an opportunity to bring this lost art back. She aims to inspire people, brighten lives, and help individuals and companies who need and desire this service.
She began in 2003 by word of mouth and has grown the endeavor into a full-time business. With her background as an event planner extraordinaire, she brings her love of things beautiful and organized to The Gift Bag.
